Crux

Independent concept / Native iOS

One move
closer.

Projects, deliberate training and a record of every session. Contour maps, acid yellow accents and bold condensed type give this climbing companion the character of technical outdoor equipment.

  • Keep the next boulder project in sight
  • Find the rhythm in your training load
  • Record the sessions that add up

The visual direction

Built like a piece of climbing equipment.

Acid yellow cuts through a charcoal ground. Oversized grades, technical annotations and contour lines create a purposeful visual language around movement and effort.

About this prototype

An independent visual concept, directed by Nick Calo and designed and built with AI assistance. These are native SwiftUI captures using sample content and local interactions. The app is a portfolio prototype, not a released service.

Native SwiftUI tab bars use Liquid Glass on iOS 26 and later, with standard system bars on earlier supported versions. Built for iPhone with iOS 17 and later.
